A meeting of Eccleshall Parish Council Planning Committee was held on May 15th, 2019 at Offley Hay Village Hall, following the Parish Council meeting at 9.40pm.

123/19). Public Participation:- There were no members of the public present.

124/19). Minutes of the Planning Committee Meeting held on June 5th, 2019 – The minutes, which had been previously circulated, were agreed and signed.

125/19). Planning Decisions of Stafford Borough/County Council:-

No decisions had been made since the last meeting

126/19). Planning Applications for consideration:-

19/30659/FUL – Removal of condition 2 on application no. 89/23965/FUL. Springfield, Slindon Road, Slindon. There were no objections to this application, due to the length of time that the property had been on the market with the existing condition.
19/30623/COU – Change of use from Retail (A1) to Yoga studio and Holistic Health (A1 and D2). Unit 4, 12 High Street, Eccleshall. There were no objections to this application.

128/19). Any Other Planning Matters:-
The Clerk advised that a letter detailing concerns about the Balancing Pool at Overton Manor has been sent to the Borough Planning Department and a response is pending.

129/19). Correspondence:-
The Council has received notification that the proposed name for the road on the development off the Burgage is ‘Kings Vale’. The name has been based on a link to the name The Burgage which is defined as land or property owned by a king or lord.

130/19). Date and venue for next meeting:- July 3rd, 2019, Eccleshall Community Centre, 7.30pm.
