20/31716/HOU – Two-storey side extension. Romford, Southwell Estate, Eccleshall. There were no objections to this application.

07/20). Any Other Planning Matters:-

Issue with drainage ditch at Croxton:- a drainage ditch has been dug next to the hedge line on the grass verge adjacent to the Well Dressing location. The work has not been completed – the ditch is full of foul water and the grass verge is now churned up and muddy. The work has been carried out by a local resident. It was queried whether this should be a complaint to the Environmental department but as it is location on a highways verge, it was resolved to log a complaint with highways in the first instance.

Blocked Drains on Sancerre Grange:- it has been noted that the gullies at the bottom of Sancerre Grange are blocked, and the drains full of debris, which may be adding to the flooding in that area. The council resolved to contact Bovis and ask for the gullies and drains to be cleared.

08/20). Correspondence:-

• Adoption of roundabout by Sancerre Grange:- The Parish Council has been asked about the process of adopting the planting on this roundabout. It was noted that the roundabout is still the responsibility of Bovis, as it has not yet been adopted by County Council highways. At this point, it is unclear whether the planting will fall within the County Council or Borough Council.

09/20). Date and venue for next meeting:-

February 5th, 2020, Eccleshall Community Centre, 7.30pm.

There being no further business, the Chairman declared the meeting closed at 10.05pm.
